OVERVIEW

This community consists of 577 single-family homes and is located on the northwest edge of Hillsborough County. Westwood Lakes provides easy access to life’s daily needs yet remains sheltered and secluded among large acres of pine trees, grass, wetlands, and fresh water lakes. Just inside the Westwood Lakes entrance is Westwood Lakes County Park, which offers amenities such as: four basketball courts, a soccer field, baseball diamond, playground, shelter and picnic tables. In addition to the Park, there is a walking/jogging trail that winds through the community. Nestled on the eastern edge of adjacent to Brooker Creek Preserve, you will encounter many walks of wildlife here.

The residents of Westwood Lakes are always creating ways to get the community together such as their annual fishing competition, Spring Fling in the park, end of school year balloon fights and more. Take a drive through this community and you will be sure to see a lemonade stand somewhere worked by the cutest kids in the ‘hood.
